Welcome to the new play and youth worker pages. These pages have been designed to give you information that may be relevant in your role. We have included up to date policies, procedures, statistics, local training and events that may be relevant to you and your children and young people.
Take a look at the new resource sharing directory which we have just launched, this gives you the opportunity to try out or borrow equipment for one off events from other local providers.
The City Council also run a Play Provider Network, which is for all play providers who are running activities for children aged 0-18 years old from all sectors across the Canterbury District. The network enables providers to share best practise, receive e-newsletters and the opportunity to attend a free seminar once a year which offers relevant training and key note speakers on topics relevant to you.
