Welcome to the Canterbury District Youth Strategy. We asked lots of young people (and adults working with them) their opinions so we could find out what issues were important to young people. The strategy also explains how young people’s service providers are going to work together to provide the services that young people need.
For this strategy ‘young people’ includes everyone aged 11 to 19 who lives in the Canterbury Districy (the district is Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and the rural villages).
Young people told us that the full document didn’t appeal to them, so we worked with a group of them to produce a young person friendly version.
